Amy from ablossominglife.com came to Lumné with very specific criteria that she wanted to see her logo and website header designed with. She requested a specific color palette, two type faces, that the design be clean & flat, and a modular design. Amy requested the modular capabilities for her logo so that she could easily re-design her blog periodically for a fresh look without sacrificing brand recognizability. The web design that you see below is the first published configuration for ablossominglife.com. If you visit the blog today you will likely see a new iteration of her brand.

Every week the Duper Friends assemble to discuss the greatest movies of all time…that week. This was the concept that Jacob from Duper Friends revealed to me for the movie review podcast that he was soon to create. Jacob was seeking to represent Duper Friends with a professionally designed logo that incorporated imagery from the world of film, active colors, and blend of retro and modern styles.

Jim Jacobs from Jacobs Air Conditioning And Heating operates his business with expert service and customer care as his two main values. When Jim approached Lumné he was seeking fresh ideas and clean/professional design to represent his business through several avenues. Form follows function when it comes to design. This means that the purpose and principals of a project should be the guiding force behind the design. It is also the reason why the Lumné team places great importance on understanding our clients and the people that they are trying to reach.
The various examples of design applied to printed media shown below all demonstrate how unique the outcome can be based on the client it is for.

When designing branding for a business who offers a wide range of services it is important to consider the imagery associated with the facets of their business. B & B Harris Management specialized in providing entertainment machines and repair for games such as pool, poker, darts, arcade, and redemption machines(like the claw game). B & B Harris Management’s wide range of services provided a plentiful pool of imagery associated for Lumné to pull from. Our designer Jonathan L Clark spent a great deal of time to learn about their services, what their best sellers were, and how their clients respond to their services. From this research our designer was able to determine what imagery to inspire the brand design with. From the illustration of a king and the castle-crown to the rich and deep colors, every element of the branding was designed to communicate B & B Harris Management’s identity as entertainment experts.
